‘Home Again: The Art of Belonging’ is a charity exhibition of fine art prints from 51 members of Graphic Studio Dublin and is a collaboration with Simon Community, kindly supported by HLB Ireland. The exhibition is opening on the 7th of October and is running until the 10th of October at RHA gallery in Dublin.
All works are available €160 framed and €235 framed. Proceeds are split equally with the artists and Simon Communities of Ireland. The exhibition supports the Simon Communities of Ireland, working to bring an end to homelessness.
Prints will be available to buy online at www.simon.ie/homeagain, website will be live October 6th - 27th October.
The print I made for this exhibition is called Home At Last. Depicting the sentiment of finally finding your place that you can call home, it evokes the sense of calm, acceptance, solace and safety. Thinking of childhood and the world of wonders and miracles, this work combines a solid structure of a house with an impression of the sky into an airy, dreamy and light invocation of remembering being very young and what home meant to you then.
